Every dog is unique and deserves an individual approach.<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The name \u201cUn-Leashed\u201d stands for exactly that belief. Welcome to Un-Leashed \u2013 where creatively trained dogs are allowed to show their best side! <\/p>

Thanks to my special approach, I\u2019ve been able to rehabilitate many dogs and effectively resolve their behavior issues. Happy clients report a noticeable improvement in everyday life with their dogs. <\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My story<\/span>

The development of un-leashed in Upper Valais<\/h2><\/div>

Un-leashed was founded in Upper Valais in 2020 with the goal of offering individualized dog training and behavior consulting. Through continuous professional development and hands-on experience, I\u2019ve specialized in working with challenging dogs and achieved many successes with happy clients. My philosophy quickly spread throughout the region, and I\u2019m proud to be a trusted partner for dog owners. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Lily<\/h4>

It started with Lily. My first dog of my own\u2014whom I loved so much\u2014and who, at the same time, confronted me with a challenge I didn\u2019t have an answer to back then: Lily couldn\u2019t be motivated with food.That was a problem. No matter which course I took or which trainer I went to, food was always the focus. I stood there with my dog and wondered: So what now?<\/strong>That question wouldn\u2019t let go of me. It pushed me to go deeper, learn more, and rethink everything. Today I can say with pride: I can train dogs without using food at all. What was a necessity back then is my greatest strength today. <\/p>

My training<\/h4>

My path first led me into theory. I completed courses at the Martin Gaus Academy in the Netherlands and deepened my knowledge with the world-renowned behavior expert Turid Rugaas in Sweden\u2014two names that stand for empathetic, stress-free, dog-friendly work. That foundation still shapes my thinking today.But theory alone wasn\u2019t enough for me. I wanted to truly work\u2014with real dogs, in real situations. So I spent around four years using every vacation and every day off to work with an experienced trainer in Germany who specializes in rehabilitating difficult dogs. Dogs of all breeds and backgrounds\u2014many officially classified as dangerous<\/strong>\u2014abandoned, without hope.There I learned the most important thing I\u2019ve ever learned: There is no hopeless case. Only dogs who haven\u2019t learned the right language yet.Since mid-2024, I\u2019ve also been supporting another experienced trainer and her 25 dogs in Germany, who has started her own dog school\u2014whether in training, grooming, or wherever hands are needed. With all my heart. <\/p>

Luna<\/h4>

In November 2021, Luna arrived.For almost four years, she was part of my life\u2014and every day she questioned everything I thought I knew. Luna tested every boundary, challenged every rule, and pushed me to rise to the occasion again and again. She was difficult. She was exhausting. And she was the best thing that could have happened to me as a trainer.Because Luna showed me what I had only suspected until then: love alone isn\u2019t enough. You can love a dog with all your heart and still fail if clarity and consistency are missing. Bad behavior doesn\u2019t disappear through affection. It takes structure. It takes boundaries. And it takes someone who holds those boundaries\u2014lovingly, but unmistakably.Luna left me in 2025. In her memory, I work today the way she would have deserved: honest, consistent, and with all my heart. R.I.P. Luna.<\/strong><\/p>

Challenging dogs<\/h4>

I specialize in dogs that are considered uncorrectable. The ones that clash everywhere. The ones that push their owners to their limits. These are exactly the dogs I get up for every morning, in Upper Valais and beyond.My philosophy can be summarized in one sentence:I work fairly but consistently<\/strong>.The more clear boundaries and rules a dog has, the more true freedom they can enjoy. A dog that knows what is expected of them is not a restricted dog; they are a relaxed, confident dog. One who trusts their human. And one whom their human can trust.No bribery, no pressure, no fear. Only clarity, consistency, and a real bond. <\/p>
